Establishment
Three young architects and educators:
Prof. C. K. Gumaste
Prof. S. H. Wandrekar
Prof. V. G. Mhatre
- came together and established Academy of Architecture as a 7 year part-time diploma course.
1960
Expansion
This sowed the seed of Rachana Sansad as a
"multi-disciplinary design institute"
1999
Milestone
The Academy of Architecture became affiliated with the University of Mumbai and this marked an important transition in the institute's academic journey.
Today
And Onwards
Rachana Sansad takes pride in being a leader in design pedagogy and nurturing creatives minds.
